How to get the 1000TRAX player working after completed purchase

By now you would have received a confirmation email from 1000TRAX and information with a log-in code.

If you have an iPhone, iPod or iPad device

Download the app from the App Store and log in with your code.
Open the 1000TRAX App, press Play and test that your device plays 1000TRAX.
If your device does not play try turning up the volume.

Now you need to connect your device to your speaker or amplifier.

Bluetooth device = select connect Bluetooth on your Apple device, select player device, connect Bluetooth and play.

Sonos = activate Airplay on Apple device, select your Sonos device (or several devices) and connect. For the use of Sonos you must have at least one of the following Sonos speakers that is Airplay compatible:

  • All Symphonic Speakers
  • Amp
  • Arc, Arc SL
  • Beam, Beam (2nd gen)
  • Five
  • Move
  • One, One SL
  • Play:5 (2nd gen)
  • Playbase
  • Gate
  • Ray
  • Roam, Roam SL

INFO – if you do NOT have one of the mentioned airplay compatible sonos speakers, you can purchase 1 extra sonos speaker from the list. Then this new one will also be able to establish contact via airplay to all your other sonos devices. Next, it is important that the player (iphone, ipad, ipod, mac etc.) and speakers must be on the same wifi network.
See under airplay devices where your Sonos speakers should be visible and can therefore be selected. Then the music should play, but sometimes it can take up to a few minutes before the connection is 100% stable. Therefore, there may be dropouts in the sound, but this should subside quickly.

Jack connector = Use Apple Lightning for mini Jack 3.5 mm connector.

Phono plug = Use Apple Lightning for RCA Phono

Macbook or other Mac computer

When you have received the confirmation email from 1000TRAX and information with the log-in code, enter this information on the 1000TRAX website.

Now you can access the 1000TRAX player.
Press play and test that your device plays 1000TRAX.
If your device does not play, try turning up the volume.

Now you need to connect your device to your speaker or amplifier.

Sonos = download the Airmusic app in Google Play and then select the Sonos device (or several devices), connect.

Jack connector = Use USB-C to mini Jack3.5 mm cable.

Airplay Trouble?

Here is a list of suggestions that Apple have mentioned in the past to try to fix Airplay issues and these suggestions apply to many Airplay compatible devices. Here are some things for you to try:
• Plug all devices into a wall outlet instead of using battery power.
• Restart all devices and try to AirPlay again.
• Toggle off Bluetooth, or if already off, try turning it on.
• Turn off Cellular Data.
• Disconnect from any other Bluetooth devices (like speakers).
• Connect to the same WiFi network.
• Reset your network settings on your iDevice in Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
• Update iOS, and speaker firmware/software.
• Move your devices away from other electronics.
• Renew your devices DHCP lease via the router configuration pages or reboot the router.
• Switch off any security software and VPN software installed on the broadcasting device.
