User Manual – AUDIO CONSOLE

Overview

AUDIO CONSOLE gives you full control over music, audio zones, playback devices, and advertising spots across all your locations.
This guide explains the system’s features step by step.

Home Screen

On the home screen, in the upper-right corner, you will find:

  • Your company name(s)
  • A gear icon for general settings
  • Login information with personal settings such as language and color theme

General Settings (Gear Icon)

Clicking the gear icon opens a new page where you can select:

  • Location time zone
  • Opening hours
  • Audio output format (mono or stereo)

Audio Format

You can choose between mono and stereo.

Many installations use more than two speakers.
In such cases, mono often provides a more consistent and balanced sound experience.

All music is produced in stereo but also optimized for mono playback.

The music level is normalized, meaning ongoing volume adjustments are normally unnecessary.
However, volume can always be adjusted manually (see Music).

Advantages of mono:

  • Reduced internet usage (approximately 50%)
  • More uniform sound in larger spaces

Internet and Buffer

AUDIO CONSOLE uses a continuous buffer system:

  • The player always stays 20–25 tracks ahead
  • Music continues playing during temporary internet outages
  • Once the connection is restored, a new buffer is downloaded automatically

If the internet connection is unavailable for more than 2–3 hours, the system will loop the buffered 25 tracks continuously until the connection is restored.

Menu – Left Side

On the left side of the screen you will find five blue buttons used for setup and control.

Some words are pronounced better when written phonetically — as they sound.

Once approved, you can:

  • Download the file locally
  • Or save it as Custom Content

You can define whether it is:

  • Advertising voice-over
  • Staff message
    (e.g. “employee to register two”)

5. Custom Content

Here you will find:

  • All saved speaks and spots
  • Upload option for your own audio productions
    (e.g. professional advertising spots)

Audio Optimization

All audio files are automatically analyzed and adjusted to system volume.

We use LUFS normalization, a Dolby-based standard that measures sound similarly to the human ear.
This ensures:

  • Consistent volume across music and commercials
  • No sudden volume jumps

Staff messages are played at +3 dB to prioritize clarity.

Clicking the waveform icon displays detailed technical information for each audio file.

Conclusion

AUDIO CONSOLE is designed for:

  • Stable operation
  • Consistent sound levels
  • Simple music and communication management
  • Minimal maintenance
